Types of Membership

There are four membership levels:

Level 1 – Associate Membership:

This is open is everyone. The majority of Associate Members are individuals with an interest in natural healing and human potential who are not in professional practice. This form of membership is also most appropriate for students.

Level 2 – Professional Membership:

This level of membership is open to all healing professionals including herbalists, massage therapists, aromatherapists, body workers, energetic healers, holistic health practitioners, polarity health educators, ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine Practitioners, shamans, feng shui practitioners, naturopaths, homeopaths, pastoral counselors, clinical hypnotherapists,
colonic therapists, reiki practititioners, life coaches, physicians, motivational and inspirational speakers and seminar leaders.

An application process, which includes a credential review and verification procedure by our Committee on Professional Standards, Credentialing and Membership, is required to receive this level of membership.

Level 3: IAHP certified professional membership:

This level of membership is for those who wish to expand their healing skills. The IAHP offers an Integrative Healing Skills weekend training for those who would like to expand their knowledge base. The fee for this weekend includes IAHP certification and lifetime membership in the association. Each certification weekend takes place on Saturday and Sunday and includes nutrition, botanical medicine (herbology), aromatherapy, massage, energetic bodywork, coaching/counseling, basic business building skills and more. The Integrative Healing Skills weekend training is offered throughout the year at various locations

Level 4: Advanced Certified Professional Membership:

This level of membership is only available to those who have completed the advanced 255-hour on-campus or distance learning certification training provided by our educational affiliate, The Academy of Natural Healing.

Professional Membership in IAHP can help to expand your business. Many IAHP members list their certification and/or membership in the association on their brochures, business cards, announcements and web sites. Generally speaking, consumers of natural healing and human potential products and services prefer to work with qualified professionals. Membership in IAHP tells the world that you have met the requirements of the premier professional organization for health and healing professionals.
