What Is Certification ?

Certification is a means of verifying standards of excellence. The United States government does not monitor the quality of American colleges and universities, as does the ministry of education in other countries. Instead, the U.S. Department of Education approves accrediting agencies. These accrediting agencies review a school's educational program for quality and certify that the school meets a set of minimum standards. Sadly, none of these accrediting agencies recognize or pay any attention to fully-integrated, natural healing or human-potential training programs. It was for this reason that the International Association of Healing Professionals established its certification programs.

How do I achieve certification?

The IAHP offers 3 types of certification.

1. A basic entry-level, distance-learning training package for those who would like to become a healing, professional. This training package includes workbooks on all aspects of natural healing including nutrition, botanical medicine (herbology), aromatherapy, massage, energetic bodywork, coaching/counseling, basic business-building skills and more.

2. THE IAHP BOARD CERTIFICATION TRAINING WEEKEND. "This two-day program" is offered every July in New York City.

IAHP Certification Training Weekend Syllabus: Integrative Healing: Combining the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of healing, nutrition, western herbal medicine, massage, acupressure, reflexology, life coaching, energetic healing, chakra balancing, Polarity energy balancing, aromatherapy, flower remedies, practice building.

Tuition is $497 and includes a workbook and video-tape.

How to Sponsor an IAHP Certification Training Weekend:

Interested individuals or groups can also sponsor this program. The cost of bringing a Healing Professionals Board Certification Weekend to your area is $497 per person and requires a minimum of five students Attendees receive a free one year membership in IAHP.
